Celenit panels can be classified as natural sound absorbers. The panels disperse sound through their cellular structure by progressively reducing its energy, and transforming this into heat. They offer a high level of sound-absorption, particularly at higher frequencies (shrill sounds), which are the most common. Absorption increases with greater thickness and when coupled with a layer of mineral wool.
